The shed will be 10'x10'. i am not sure what to use for the floor. would exterior grade plywood t&g be sufficient or would i be better off with pressure treated plywood. i would like to use exterior grade assuming i can get t&g. the floor will be framed with pt. what about putting 30# felt on top of the floor frame and putting down regular 3/4. The best material for the shed floor is pressure treated 3/4 inch construction grade exterior plywood. being pressure treated means wet tools or snow from the snow-blower or your boots, wont damage the floor.. Shed construction. good morning! thanks for all the information. i have seen 3/4" pt plywood and i am guessing that is a viable option in this case. i have 4 30" anchors that will have cable running through the floor and into the header to hold the shed down..
Build a shed floor with pressure-treated wood. by darwin hall. make sure the shed floor is completely level. add dirt under the frame where needed. (or 23/32) thick, 4 x 8 foot pressure-treated plywood for the floor. i will be screwing the floor down using 2 inch grk screws, which are simply the best.. Osb and plywood are both commonly sold in 4-by-8-foot sheets, but osb can be made in much larger panels, up to 8-by-24 feet. using larger osb panels can be an advantage when flooring a big or odd-size shed, reducing the number of joints in a floor.. Making a shed and due to uneven elevation one side of it will be about 1' in the ground. i already did the floor framing using pt 4x4 + 2x4s. is it ok to use non-pt 3/4in plywood for the floor?.
